Gearbox has sent all of us our first invitation back to Pandora with the new trailer, and personally after seeing it I’ve already RSVP’D. With the new 3 minute trailer we are shown a plethora of awesomess. We see returning characters such as Madd Moxxi, Scooter, Mordicai and my favorite Lilith. We are also introduced to the main 3 other characters to scavenge the lands of Pandora. Maya who seems to be like a mage or plainswalker. Zero, who is a NINJA complete with sword, and Axton who looks like the soldier replacement.
Along with the characters we are also shown some excellent footage with all of Borderlands unique looking art style. It also informs us that each character has more skills to learn and choose from, which can be speculated to mean that everyone will be able to find skills that they prefer and like. The best part about the trailer is Gearbox and 2K have given us the most important date this year, the date when we can go back to Pandora. Borderlands hits store shelves September 18th 2012.
The end of the trailer shows incentive to pre order as well with a chance to become a part of the Borderlands 2 premier club. Members are given a Golden key, a vault hunters relic and gearbox weapons. Check the video below and get ready to kick some bandit and skagg ass.
