Metro: Last Light has been pushed back from a quarter 3 release this year to an early 2013 release. We now must wait a little longer for the atmospheric, Ukraine developed shooter.
Revealed to the public in a THQ investor call , the delay is intended to provide 4A games with the opportunity to polish the title a little more before release. Which isn’t horrible news. Nothing wrong with a little waiting if they are polishing the title up. THQ CEO Brian Farrell also noted that the game will receive twice the marketing budget of the original game, Metro 2033. I don’t know about you guys, but I don’t ever remember seeing a commercial for Metro 2033.
